As has been said over and over, these are unprecedented times. We sincerely hope that you are all healthy and well, and will remain so through this health crisis.
On one level everything is normal here at CGS. But on another level, everything is up in the air. All the dogs that were booked to leave for their new homes in Europe, will now remain here for the unforeseeable future. No new dogs can come in, because no spaces will become available 😞 It is stressful and worrying, but with life taking this unexpected turn, we will have to go with the flow. Meanwhile, they will all have to be fed, and bills will have to be paid. Please join our new group, the Marketplace for Clare Greyhound Sanctuary, and if you have any items you would like to put up for sale to benefit the dogs here, we would be very grateful. Every penny we can raise counts.
We would also like to raise some awareness around the pet food suppliers. Please follow the safety instructions your local pet food supplier have put in place. We all need them to stay open, and the least we can do is to keep them safe. And please support your local businesses!
