And a very big thank you to everyone who donated, food, money, time, kind words. We will make it through another month.
Two weeks ago it looked as if we would have to close down immediately, as the car repairs were draining the small funds we had. It really brought home how vulnerable we are, and how precarious our existence is. Our future is still very uncertain.
We have received a very generous donation of 20 bags of dog food a month, and that will lower the cost each month. And the knowledge that the dogs have food, lowers the stress considerably. But we still need to raise funds to house them, to cover costs of bringing them to the vet and to transporter.
But right now we are enjoying Easter, and next weekend we will promote Greyhounds as Pets in Kilkenny.
