Eila will be three years old in August and she has been at CGS since she was 18 months old. Too nervous and scared for racing she took early retirement. It has been a long a slow journey to connect with Eila. She kept her distance from the very start, kept to herself and avoided contact. But we started bonding when I figured out she loves being groomed. Grooming her led to her enjoying being made a fuss of and now she will look for cuddles and even play. Eila is not the most confident dog and she still largely avoids visitors, but she has allowed herself to be petted occasionally. She will
probably never be a normal dog, but she has the potential to be happy and content in the right environment. We would like her to develop a bit more confidence around people before she goes up for adoption, but we wanted to show how pretty she is.🥰
